Azzaia

Primordial Deity of Atmosphere

What We Know…

Made of wind and crystals, Azzaia is known as the Deity of Stories and the incarnation of fall.

We know Azzaia is the creator of communication, libraries and learning systems, as well as languages of all kinds. Within her crystalline bones are rows and rows of knowledge she has collected in many different forms - scrolls, books, crystals, magical mushrooms, recordings and more.

Known as sibling to Innaia, Maelaia, and Saezaia, life feels her presence every time they learn something new, and when they record knowledge for future generations. Life can feel her smile when they communicate with one another, and especially when they tell stories, teach or learn.

Azzaia uses she/her pronouns and identifies as a woman.

Her form represents a Tunisian woman, inspired by the story of Fatima al-Fihriya and the oldest working library she created in Morroco - al Qarawiyyin.
